The first section on this page provides links to some useful SW tools (mostly for Windows PC users) to create walk directions and maps for an AVA event. The second section provides links hopefully useful to Atlantic Region Clubs and Walkers.

Walk Direction and Map Creation Tools

      A free online route mapping service.
      (for a small fee, you can save unlimited routes)
• Screen Image Snipping Tool
      A Windows app to easily capture screen shot images
      (pre-installed on most window systems)
• Useful Graphic Elements (MS docx)
      A MS Word doc containing graphic elements
      useful for maps and walk directions.
• PDFBinder download page
      A Windows app to bind multiple pdf files into a single pdf file.
      (Click on PDFBinder-v1.2.msi to download the installation file.)
• Example walk directions file (MS docx)
      This file includes 2 column formatted, numbered directions
      as well as the required direction text elements: Copyright,
      In Case of Emergency, and Signed Athletic Waiver Warning.
